Lime Tree House provides 24-hour Christian Science nursing care in a small, warm and welcoming environment. We understand that choosing care for yourself or a loved one is a significant decision, and we are here to make the process as straightforward and supportive as possible.
Admission enquiries should be made to the Christian Science Nursing Department by telephone. An assessment of care needs will be made during that call, which will then be considered by the Admissions Committee.
Prospective patients must be receiving Christian Science treatment from a Christian Science practitioner listed in the current issue of the Christian Science Journal.

A member of our nursing team will conduct a caring assessment of the patient's needs over the telephone.
The assessment is considered by our Admissions Committee, who will confirm whether we can meet the patient's needs.
Transportation, funding and arrival arrangements are discussed and arranged with the patient and their family.
Lime Tree House is a small, intimate facility — not a large institution. Residents are cared for in a warm, home-like setting where they are known as individuals.
We are situated in Sale, south Manchester, just 8 miles from Manchester International Airport — convenient for families travelling from further afield.
Lime Tree House will assist patients to travel to the house, provided they are fit to do so.
Where patients are not fit to travel independently, admission will be arranged by private ambulance. This will be fully discussed during the assessment process and arranged if required — you do not need to organise this yourself.
Our team of Journal-listed Christian Science nurses provides round-the-clock care, supporting patients who are relying on Christian Science for their healing.
We also offer outpatient care and rest and spiritual refreshment for those who do not require full residential care.
Because Lime Tree House is a Registered Charity, patients are only expected to pay what they can reasonably afford. Financial support is available through two grant funds for those who need it.
Grants are available from this fund for patients who require financial assistance with the cost of Christian Science nursing care. Application is made through the Administrator.
Lime Tree House operates its own Benevolent Fund to support patients with outstanding care costs. Applications are made to the Administrator, who will discuss the process with you in complete confidence.
In addition to full residential nursing care, Lime Tree House offers a Rest & Study facility — a peaceful stay for those seeking spiritual refreshment, rest and renewal in a Christian Science environment.
